Heavy Duty Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for Aerospace, Defense and Battery Charging introduced by SynQor


BOXBOROUGH, Mass. – SynQor Inc. of Boxborough, Mass. introduces the DC3 Full Power, High Voltage, Adjustable Output Isolated Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for military and aerospace applications.

The DC3 1250 watt high voltage DC adjustable output can supply any output voltage between 25 volts DC and 325 volts DC; at full power, it can deliver between 210 and 325 volts DC. Output voltage and current limit are user configurable.

The robust DC3 output of multiple units can be paralleled or configured in an N+M redundant configuration for increased power output. The inverter can also be configured to simultaneously supply the high voltage DC output with either 24 volts DC or 28 volts DC through its DC2 port and either 12, 15, 24, 28, 40 or 50 volts DC at 500 Watts through its DC1 port .

The inverter can be powered from a wide range of AC input voltages and frequencies, or from a 28 volt DC power source and provide up to three different isolated DC output voltages.

Battery charging applications are also possible with the current limiting function. It is designed to withstand harsh and extreme electrical, shock/vibration and environmental conditions. Backup power is provided by a small sealed lithium-polymer battery.

This UPS also includes features that simplify its operation, such as SNMP Ethernet base module that allows real-time remote system monitoring with trap/e-mail functionality that notifies users and monitors consoles of system events important.

Another feature enables a dynamic input frequency range of 47 to 800 Hz for variable frequency input AC applications. These UPS models have a droop sharing option in the DC2 port that allows load sharing and redundant (N+M) configurations between multiple UPS units at low output voltages.
